Paint for a Cause!March 7, 2016
Join Gina Lowther at Muse Paintbar & Eatery, 69 Raymond Road, West Hartford, Connecticut on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. as she hosts Paint for a Cause! Paint for a Cause will help raise money to fund the 2nd Annual Reginald Anderson Memorial Scholarship awarded through the CTBTA to a brain tumor survivor pursuing his/her dream of higher education.
The Reginald Anderson Memorial Scholarship was founded in 2015 by Gina Lowther, with generous contributions from friends, family, and community members, to honor the life and legacy of Reginald Anderson. Education was very important to "Reggie," graduating from South Windsor High School where he played football as a defensive lineman and Springfield College where he received a bachelor of science degree in Social Services. The scholarship is awarded each year to a deserving recipient in memory of Reggie who passed from a glioblastoma brain tumor but not before leading a life of love and laughter, which included travel, learning new things, and serving the State of Connecticut as an adult probation officer.
Please help to continue Reginald's legacy by participating in this fun event designed to honor other brain tumor Survivors with a scholarship towards their education. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. Painting begins at 12:00 noon. Snacks and beverages provided; beer and wine can be purchased at the bar. Tickets are $45.
