NicoleIn 2011 my sister underwent surgery to remove her brain tumor. I was a teenager when it all happened so I didn’t quite understand to the full extent what was going on. She went through surgery successfully and they were able to remove it all.

I remember riding up to the hospital (about an hour and a half away from home) every afternoon with my dad on his motorcycle to go see her when we got out of work/school for the two weeks she stayed there.

Other than having some loose screws removed, she hasn’t had anymore complications and has gone on to graduate college cum laude after being told she would not be able to graduate on time. She got married, had her daughter and is the most amazing mother. I could not be more inspired by her strength.
